What is Trellis 3D?
This is not Microsoft-s official project. TRELLIS is an open model released under the MIT licence; trellis-3d.net is an independent site that puts a hosted interface over it and adds other engines — Hunyuan 3D 3.1, Tripo v3.1 and Meshy 7. The shared name makes it easy to mistake for the source project, so know which one you are paying.
What it does: an image or a text prompt becomes a downloadable 3D model in GLB, OBJ, FBX or USDZ, or a GIF preview. Jobs are priced in credits — Trellis 2 Lite costs 5 credits and takes two to six minutes.
Plans are $6.99, $18.99 and $35 a month (annually $83.88, $227.88 and $420). There is no free tier and no free credits, which is worth weighing against running the MIT model yourself if you have a GPU, since the model itself costs nothing.
